Service, Adjacent and Urban Investigations

Each group will be assigned a subject that contains a Service Design, an Urban Issue, an Adjacent Possibility and some further reading.

They will critically investigate the allocated subject using standard online secondary research techniques and then present the results in a PechaKucha like format directly from the blog.

The presentation will address the following questions, which are an adapted version of the five fundamentals of service design template from London’s Engine Group.

PEOPLE
Who are the participants in this service?
VALUE
What affordance of this service generates value?
(What is the Minimum Viable Product?)
PROPOSITION
How is the service’s differentiating factor communicated?
(What is the Unique Selling Point?)
JOURNEY
What is the User Experience UX?
(What are the Touch Points?)
SYSTEM
What Infrastructure or Ecology does the service require?
